Shocking Seau Suicide

NFL legend, Junior Seau, 43 years old, has apparently committed suicide by a gun shot to the chest.  Earlier on Wednesday morning he was found in his Oceanside home by his girlfriend.  Paramedics were called and efforts to revive him were worthless.  It is a sad day in the sports world.  What drove this football superstar to take his own life?  What demons was he dealing with?

He was a local hero in Oceanside. Junior worked with the youth with his Junior Seau Foundation.

Junior Seau, was drafted # 5 overall in 1990 out of the University of Southern California.  He spent 20 seasons in the NFL.  He was named all-pro 10 times and a 12 time NFL Pro Bowl linebacker.  He spent 12 years with the San Diego Chargers, then was with the Miami Dolphins and finally with the New England Patriots.  He retired in 2010.

He is the 8th member of the 1994 SanDiego Chargers, who lost the XXIX Super Bowl to the San Francisco 49ers, to die of a young age.  The others are Chris Mims, David Griggs, Rodney Culver, Lewis Bush, Curtis Whitley, Shawn Lee, and Doug Miller.

Seau leaves behind a ex wife and four children.

Jack makes Ozzy a Grandpa

Jack Osbourne and fiance, Lisa Stelly have become parents of a little girl, Pearl. She was born on Tuesday, April 24., weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces. Thank you for choosing a "normal" name for your little one. We have had enough with the celebrities trying to out do each other with the wild names. Do they ever think that those little ones have to go off to school with those odd names? Why give kids ammunition to tease?

This is a first grandchild for Sharon and Ozzy. That will surely be one spoiled little girl. I am sure Aunt Kelly will be right there with all the latest fashions for her. I wonder if Ozzy will be up for any babysitting or changing diapers?

Jack has surely come a long way from his days of a wild teenager. Congratulations to the both of you. Remember with children your parents get their payback when they see you with you own.

Octomom a "bad" mom??

Nadya Suleman, the "octomom", is being investigated by the Orange County Department of Children and Family Services. They are looking into allegations of horrendous living conditions and the children being grossly neglected. She was turned in by her hairdresser. Wait, you can't take care of your kids but can afford a hairdresser??? Someones priorities are way off.

Gross is the right word to use all right. Reports are that there is only one functioning bathroom for 14 children and they had to use outside toilets. These kids also don't all have beds and some sleep on the floor. Ok...its gross they have to use outside toilets, but do they not have beds or do they like to sleep on the floor? Kids like to do weird things sometimes. Sleeping on the floor is not the worst thing that could happen. Are they getting fed, cleaned and taken care of? I have no idea how someone could ever take care of 14 kids all by themselves. Yes, maybe she should have thought of that before she intentionally had 14 kids.

Maybe she needs her own reality show to get some money to support all those kids. The Gosselins did it with "only" 8 kids!

The authorities were at her house for an hour and a half and apparently found not enough to do anything except refer them to children services. We will have to wait and see how this turns out.

Hilary Duff a new Mommy

Former teen star is a new mommy.  Hilary Duff and husband, Mike Comrie, retired NHL player, have become first time parents of a baby boy.  They welcomed a boy, named Luca Cruz Comrie, weighing 7lbs 6oz on March 20.

The former Disney star and pop star will take time to adjust to mommyhood before returning to the music studio to finish her current album.  "I just want to stare at his little face all day" she says.  Currently she is partnering with Johnson's Baby Cares charity to provide new mom's in need with basic baby care kits with things like, wipes, and shampoo.

It is a refreshing change to see a former teen star have a "normal" life into adulthood.  She is no Lindsey Lohan, that's for sure.

Kim and Kayne...What's next? Wearing matching name bracelets?

What is with the KW earrings Kim Kardashian?  What's next with you?  Matching charm bracelets with each others names?  What is this 1983?  Am I back in high school?  Maybe this will be the "one".  Are they serious?  Going steady now?  America can hardly wait to find out.  Its really going to be hard to top that last wedding.

Kim was seen wearing earrings with the initials KW.  Is she so insecure she has to make sure we all know that she is dating Kayne?   This so called celebrity,  for what I am not sure, she must be worried we all may forget about her for a day.  At least she hasn't made the same mistake, yet, as other celebrities and had his name tattooed anywhere.  At least we don't think so.

Maybe we would all take her a little bit more serious if she was ever a little bit,  REAL.  But then again she has made a lot of money being "Kim".  This Kardashian family may be smarter than we all realize.  We do keep getting sucked into where they are and what they are doing.
